Bottle of pear form
Ming dynasty, second half 15th century
height 17cm
Stoneware bottle with lead glazes, and carved and applied embossed decoration of two mandarin ducks and two lotus plants, one of which is flowering and the other with seed pods. In green, turquoise, aubergine and white enamels on a yellow ground.
