Original woodblock printed book in five volumes - an anthology of T'ang Dynasty poems. There are 52 poems with parallel Chinese and Japanese text with 48 single-page and 14 double-page illustrations. The volumes have brown embossed paper covers with title slips printed in red on cream. Impressions are fair and the condition is good. The covers have some discolouration and the title slips are faded, with that for volume 2 detached
